Hi Pals,
I officially declare holibobs season open! Well after two whole sunny days in a row at Easter I'm bored of waiting for Spring. Fire up the motorhome, we're off for a couple of weeks, come rain or shine. And indeed, it did rain!

First stop was Dorset and a little site called Litton Lakes near Dorchester. I have to say, if it weren't for the weather, it was a super rural place for a day or so. A pretty little lake for swimming and paddleboarding, safe for kids, a nice camping field, cafe and a pub 10mins across the fields. All very doggy friendly... in fact during our second night in The White Horse Inn we counted 10 dogs, I've never seen so many! 3 rescue lurchers and a rescue springer pup amongst them. Happy carnage.

Next stop, Woolacombe in Devon for a week or so. One of my favourite ever sandy beaches and dog friendly pubs and restaurants. There is even a dog friendly taxi company with a pawprint! We stayed at Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park as it's the closest to town having a lovely country path to the centre. Horses, yep, super friendly smelly horses to sniff along the way. I may be 14.5 but I had a super spring in my step on that path. I even walked up hill for 40 mins refusing to get in my chariot.

A very invigorating holibobs....
I hope I can manage more.
Doris,
keeping her bags packed.
