Recent vaccine and booster shortages

There were some barks that there was a national shortage of vaccines and booster vaccines. Which caused a worry that Pals would not get their jabs and booster jabs at the right time. Which in turn would affect their ability to go to daycare and other activities.

After investigating the claims, I did find there was a bit of a supply and demand issue due to the big increase of animals being bought and adopted during lockdown. Also a lot of routine services were reduced, causing a bit of a backlog.

Although all of the above was not really an issue until it was in the news and everything went bat fink crazy.
Extra supplies are being produced and now that lockdown has been relaxed, vaccines and routine appointments are being booked in again.

So you may find you may have a small delay, but things should get back to normal soon. Your vet will be able to advise you about your specific medical needs.
