Seaton Delaval Hall paws for refreshments

Seaton Delaval Hall have always been very dog friendly and pawsome place to take your humans for an adventure. Dogs are allowed throughout the site, except inside buildings or the playdium small human play area.

They have recently added an indoor dog friendly section in their Brewhouse Cafe.

The Brewhouse Café is located near the stables and is housed in a 17th-century Grade II listed building that pre-dates the Hall. It was previously used as an agricultural building, a brewhouse and a coach house.

It offers a wide range of drinks and snacks, as well as indoor and outdoor seating.

You can now go with your human into the cafe and order from the counter. Staff will direct you to the indoor dog friendly area. Your order will be brought to you when it is ready.

The dog friendly section has plenty of tables and seats, I counted 28 seats.

It is great that Seaton Delaval Hall has created this area, though if you are nervous or a bit grumpy it may not be ideal when it is busy as you do have to walk past some tables to get to the indoor dog area.

Before the new dog friendly indoor seating was opened, dogs were allowed to take their humans to the cafe but were only allowed to sit outside.

The addition of the indoor seating area means that walks in colder and wetter weather can involve ref
reshments.

Next time you are passing why not take your human and check it out.

There is a charge to visit Seaton Delaval Hall. Or if you are a National Trust member, you can visit as many times as you like.
There is no membership charge for dogs, but we must have our humans on leads at all times.
There is livestock on site.
