New dog park opens

A new dog park has opened in Cramlington, Northumberland on the 25th of March. It is the Council’s first dog park and is expected to provide an area for off lead dogs to exercise and socialise.

It is called Jubilee Bark and is located within Alexander Park activity zone, near to the existing skate park. Postcode - NE23 6EL

Cramlington Town Council has invested £20,000 in the park, which includes benches, bins and poo bag dispenser within the fenced off area. The area was created after a public consultation and the requirements were established by the County Council’s animal welfare team and a local dog charity, Dogs First Animal Rescue.

The area has a double gate entry, where you have to close one gate before opening the other.
