Tigger's Tails - August 2022

Hi Pals, First of all I have very sad news that our repawter Perry suddenly bimbled across the Rainbow Bridge on the 28th of March, leaving his humans and greyhound sister Ellie in a state of shock.

I wish to thank Perry for his entertaining adventures and pup quiz columns. Ellie has requested that Perry is still included in the Pup Quiz title.

So I raise a paw and bid a fond farewell to Perry and hope he entertains everyone across the Rainbow Bridge with his Pup Quizzes.

Thank you Perry ,
cheers and run free pal!

July has confirmed to me that humans are never happy.
After moaning for years they wanted some nice warm weather. They spent the whole two days of actually warm weather complaining it was too hot!
Worse still, my human decided that they were hot, they would constantly disturb me with a freezing cold soaking cloth that they insisted on damping me down with. Brr!
Then the next day, which was much cooler but still nice and warm, they were off complaining again!
What is this utopian weather day that humans always dream of? It’s obviously not the hot weather or the cold weather, so if you know, tell me please. BOL!

This month there has been so much going on a lot of my regular features have had to be postponed to future issues, which is a good thing. Perhaps I am getting the stage where I can permanently add another four pages.

Talking of pages and my newspaper, I realized that this very issue is my fifth anniversary of writing. Woo Hoo!
Or at least a crazed scribbling some may describe as writing.
BOL!
To celebrate I revisited some of my early day issues, oh my dogness you can see they were my first attempts into publishing.
Although, some may say my recent ones are still a bit ear raising too! BOL!

When I first set out with my newspaper, I wanted to have a newspaper that refused to be like the human counterparts with drama, distress, conflict and all the usual chaos humans thrive on.
I also wanted to make my newspaper and website available free to everyone.
So today, a whole five years and 60 issues later, my website and newspaper is still free for everyone to enjoy.
(yes I charge for printed versions to cover printing and posting costs)

Here’s to another five years, or even more ..hopefully !
Nose bump to you
