Tigger's Tails - February 2023

Hi Pals,
February is a pawsome month for me. It is my Gotcha Day on the 27th. Woo Hoo!

Apart from the initial fact of actually having a home at last and managing to keep my humans for whole 8 years so far, it has been far from a straightforward journey.

Don’t get me wrong, they have been the best humans I have ever owned, but sometimes I just have to put my paws up is despair at some of their antics. BOL!

For example, the recent ice and snow has created some really freezing nights and left the car covered in a thick layer of ice. My human needed to go out and even remembered to go out 5 minutes early to scrape off the car.
Here is the list of disasters that followed.

The scraper was inside the car, with no spare in the house and the car door was frozen shut.
So several minutes of pushing the door to try and break the newly formed frozen seal around it.

Once the door was opened and while switching the engine on the front wipers burst into life. They had left the windscreen wipers on automatic. So the moment the engine was switched on, and after a microsecond delay, they began wiping the windows as my human suddenly rushed to switch them off again. Resulting in newly bare metal scraping along the ice . Thankfully they were stopped in time before they scratched the glass.
They switched the engine on to defrost the windows but forgot to turn the blowers on. So the scraping took ages. At least they managed to scrape the frozen rubber bit of the wipers off the windscreen.
We had to make a detour to get new wipers fitted, thankfully the car parts shop is not too far away. I almost died of embarrassment as my human brought one of the staff out to establish what type of car it was and what size wipers were needed.
Thankfully the poor staff member understood the assignment and after my human paid, they just walked outside again with the wipers and fitted them without being asked. BOL!

Hopefully your humans are not as much hard work for you.

As the weather gets warmer I will be repawting more about my adventures with my humans and where I get to walk them.

Nose bump to you
