Tigger's Tails - March 2023

Hi Pals,
Last month there was a spectacular alignment of planets at night. Jupiter and Venus, two of the brightest planet, aligned up with the moon.
The 1st of March at around 6.30pm (UK time) is when they will appear to be right next to each other.
They are not really next to each other, it is just how they appear in the sky.

I hope you all got to see it too.

Talking about spectacular events…
I have been immortalised in stone!

Oh my dogness! I am so happy as a statue has been made in my honour!
This could my almost nearly famous status can actually finally been upgraded to nearly famous!

I think it is totally fabulous and it has pride of place on the mantelpiece.

It is made from sandstone and shows me pouring liquid into a glass.

* My human made me add the following, but remember it is me carved on the stone! BOL!

My other human recently retired and instead of the usual retirement gifts that end up displayed in a drawer somewhere, one of the stonemasons wanted to make a gift that would be displayed.

Two things the stonemason knew my other human loved was their lurcher, me, and a well known brand of fire water.
So with those two things in the stonemason’s mind, they set about carefully chipping away at a piece of sandstone to create the pawsome statue stone carving.
It is 10 inches high and 6 inches wide and really heavy. To the stonemason, thank you for my statue.
