Hello houndie friends.
This weekend I went to Chichester, well actually I didn't, I stayed at home whilst my humans went with a friend's dog! I was supposed to go but I had a new arthritis injection the week before and it's advantages hadn't kicked in. Elaine thought it best if I stay behind with family.

So Leo, my poodle friend, went surveying the doggy scene on my behalf. Being a poodle he's very intelligent and a most discerning fellow so I trust his judgement. Not many hotels accommodated us dogs, or were full, so Leo stayed in the Travelodge. I have to hand it to Travelodge though, they always let us pooches in for £20 and are perfectly acceptable. Chichester's is right opposite the rather beautiful cathedral and right in the centre of town. There's no parking but the large carpark as you enter town is £7 a day.

Leo reported sighting many, many dogs in town. From Labradors to Jack Russells they were everywhere which made for a very doggy friendly town. In a lot of smaller shops, most pubs and several cafes. Notably The Boston Tea Party Cafe and The Old Cross Pub.... like me Leo loves a boozer! There's a canal walk just behind the train station and lots of pretty cottage lined streets to nosey around. Leo gave it a firm 9 out of 10 for a weekend visit.
Hopefully by next month the extremely expensive Librela injection will have me hopping and skipping to my next destination.
