Hi pals,
or should I say hola as I am currently in Andorra?!

It's the third time I've been so I'm proper excited as I know all the sniffing posts. We come here to meet friends so himself can go skiing and leave Elaine and I to chill out. Last year we were here later and there was soooo much snow, even in town, and the evenings were -11. This year, it's 19 degrees in the day and slushy on the nursery slopes, good job the skiers can get up high on those terrifying lifts! The locals are understandably not happy about this as town is noticeably quieter, less tour groups and less Spanish popping over for a quick ski and raclette. Everyone is wondering whether a climate warming issue or just a fluke year.

La Massana and the rest of urban Andorra suffers from a lot of traffic, several roads lead through the valleys and are often congested. However, the side roads and most of the buildings are pretty. The motorhome carpark literally is just that and opposite a petrol station. It's not particularly pretty and a little noisy as Andorrans have a penchant for vacuuming their cars 24 hrs! Having said that, it's safe, cheap and close to the ski hotels and telecabina.

Andorra is very friendly and it's residents love a galgo type dog like me, we've had a lot of conversations, usually about parent's rescue dogs, and a lot of attention. Another reason I love Andorra!

Our next stop will be somewhere back in Spain but who knows where....
