In the kitchen
Apple Mumble Mix (four portions)

Note from Fred & Tess:
Mum has been ever so pleased with the apples from our apple tree.  She claims the apple tree was a present to her therefor the apples belong to her!  Does she not know the spaniel creed - if we see it, it is ours and if it grows in our garden it is ours!  BOL!  Anyhoo, we persuaded Mum to hand over some apples and then, our oven packed in!  We couldn't bake, then Dad pointed out that we have been sitting every night with Mum watching Masterchef Australia and to deal with our recipe as a mystery box challenge!  So, our planned doggy apple crumble is now........

Ingredients:
2 dessert apples, peeled, cored and sliced (nose bumps to Mum for doing this for us)
2 tbsp water
50g jumbo porridge oats
1/2 tbsp coconut oil

Method:
1 In a medium pan cook the apple and water, over a low heat,  until the apple is soft (approx 5 mins).
Set aside in a bowl to cool.

2 In the same pan (once rinsed), add the oats and oil and mix.
Cook over a low heat until warmed through (approx 5 mins) and let it cool.

3 Once both cooled, mix them together and tuck in.

Storage:
You get four portions and it will keep in a fridge for a couple of days.
