Blueberry Frozen Treatsies
Note from Tess:
Summer is here and I have had my summer haircut, which makes me look slimmer! I thought I should do an ice-creamy treat that was healthy and delicious. I used Mum's account on the 'jungle place' and ordered a doggy themed mould. Before I start, I should stress that you should put the mould on a baking tray, as if you do as we did and lift the mould into the freezer then the mixture goes everywhere and over both me and Mum! BOL! There was a little bit left over and once I refilled the mould, I drank the mixture for a healthy doggy smoothie (nose bump to Mum for holding the measuring jug whilst I licked it clean).
Ingredients:
3/4 cup of blueberries
3/4 cup of low-fat greek yoghurt
1 medium banana
Method:
1 Add all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until blended and a lovely bright colour.
2 Place the mould tray on top of a baking tray.
- Very Impawtent step!
3 Pour the mixture into the mould shape.
4 Put the tray and mould into the freezer and freeze for 5 hours until solid.
5 Remove from the mould and eat straight from the freezer.
Storage:
The frozen treatsies will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months.
