Ninny-nanna Pancakes - makes 5 pancakes
Notes from Tess and Rufus:
Mum said she was going to make a banana bread as we had a lot of ninny-nannas and Dad said we should do a doggy one. I pointed out to Dad that Fred, and I made a ninny-nanna treatsie cake (does he not read our column! BOL!), but if we had an adult helping us then we could make ninny -nanna pancakes. Dad tasted one and said it tastes like a human pancake - drat!
Ingredients:
1 banana 1 egg
60g plain flour
60g milk
Method:
1 Mash the banana and whisk together with the egg and milk.
2 Add the flour and mix well.
3 Add a small amount of oil to a frying pan and heat over a medium heat.
4 Add 3tbsp of the batter to the pan to make one pancake (if the pan is big enough you can add another pancake).
5 Cook for 2 minutes until bubbles start to form on the surface. Flip the pancake over and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown.
6 Let the pancakes cool before eating.
Storage:
The pancakes will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 2 days.
