Tess and Rufus in the kitchen
Soft food for after oral surgery.

Notes from Tess and Rufus:
Hi Everyone,
As you can see I have a cone!
One of my canine teeth snapped and whilst it was getting removed, I also got 6 other teeth removed!
Though the vet said for my age I am in very good health.

For 10 days after surgery I am only allowed wet dog food, though Mum and Dad are to hand feed me!   BOL!  I went for my 4th checkup and the vet noticed that another tooth needs to come out so I got revision surgery.  Mum was upset - at me having to wear the cone for longer as I am lethal with the cone on.  I like to take Mum's legs out at every opportunity!!
So, no recipe this month just suggestions on soft food to add to the wet dog food.
I cannot wait for a bisquit!  BOL!

Soft food for after oral surgery.
Eggs - scrambled, boiled, fried or omelette - though better if Dad cooks them as Mum retches at runny eggs, so she has her fried egg 'over hard' and not 'sunny side up' like Dad!  Likewise, a boiled egg must have no soft insides!   No matter how you have the eggs, they must be cooled down.

Rotisserie Chicken - Well any kind of cooked (and cooled) chicken but we do like a rotisserie chicken and the meat lasts for days.  Just in case Mum and Dad forget where the chicken is, we will stick our heads in the open fridge to show them where it is!

Yiggy-yoggy-yous - are easily licked off a plate.

Ninny-nannas - sliced so they are easy to eat

Strawberries - cut into quarters

Mango - sorry Mum, Dad gave us your mango pieces as they were of perfect ripeness and easy
