Tess and Rufus in the kitchen
Soft food for after oral surgery.

Aah!  Back to baking after our oral operations.  We are both fully healed and ready to restart on our treats!  In celebration, we thought we would join two of our favourite foods into one dish - Yorkshire puddings and sausages.  Mum said "You mean Toad in the Hole"!  Mum, did we mention toads?!  Gross Mum!  BOL!

Yorkshire Pudding & Sausages

Ingredients:
6 low-fat sausages
(we used vegetarian ones) cut in half
4 medium eggs
200ml skimmed milk
140g plain flour
Oil

Method:
1.  Heat oven to 200 fan and lightly oil a tall sided dish.

2.  Place the flour and eggs into a bowl and whisk until smooth.

3.  Gradually add the milk and whisk until the mixture is smooth.

4.  Place the halved sausages into your dish and then cover with the batter mixture.

5.  Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25 mins until the batter has puffed up and a golden brown colour.

6.  Leave to cool and then cut into pieces.

Storage:
Store in the fridge for 3 days or freeze.
