Tess and Rufus in the kitchen
Turkey & Blueberry Loaf  

Ho, Ho, Ho!  It’s December which means Christmas is coming.  It is also Rufus’s first Christmas with us, hopefully the tree survives!  BOL!  We love turkey and cake but not allowed Christmas cake, so we made a doggy friendly Christmas cake!  Nose bumps to Dad, as he tried some of the cake and said whilst it is edible, it was missing salt or sugar.  This feedback was good as it means less chance of Dad stealing our cake!  BOL!


Ingredients:
500g Minced Turkey 
250g Self-raising floor
3 Eggs
50g Milk
150g Blueberries 


Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180. Line two loaf tins with baking parchment.

2. Mix all the ingredients together until no trace of flour is visible.

3. Split the mixture into both tins. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes until golden.

4. Leave to cool completely in the tin.

5. Cut the cake into cubes or cut a slice and serve it with weak chicken gravy.

Storage:
The cake will keep covered in the fridge or it can be frozen.
