This is about my trip to Cragside National Trust, Northumberland.

During my holibobs in Northumberland I visited my hoodads favourite National Trust property Cragside, Rothbury, Northumberland

The property reopens 19th May but in it's day it was the first house powered by electricity.

On our visit we did 2 of the 14 way marked walks which is only a tiny section of the estate that covers 1000 acres.

We started off with Armstrong trail taking us past the visitors centre around the lake but then as we came to the ticket checking area we turned right and up the hill to the formal gardens.

At the garden we stopped for a quick breather and a biscuit. Before heading back down the slope. At the bottom of the hill we walked along the stream back to the visitors centre. At the visitors centre is a board with all the walks listed on it.

After a quick drink and treats we decided to try the Nelly’s moss walk.

To get to the car park you go through the arch way of the house and then onto the estate driveway that covers 7 miles and connects the 9 car parks.

The house as well is amazing 3,000 shells on display loads of rooms and a fireplace that weighs 4 tonnes.

I love it there 2 walks done another 12 to do. It gets a 4 paws up from me a great day out.

Until next time
