News from - Dusty's Diary
September 2022

There has been an exciting event in the last few weeks. After dropping hints for years that I enjoy playing with my pals in the woods so much I never want to come home, one day a few weeks ago the human went out, and appeared with this tiny little terrier.

I was a bit apprehensive at first, as he cocked his leg against the radiator in the living room and tried to claim my bed as his own. But we soon settled into a routine of me bossing him around, and him thinking he can get away with anything (he is a terrier puppy). I have realised that we can now gang up on the human, and that there is very little she can do if we work as a team. He distracts by threatening to steal another toilet roll, and I can swoop in unnoticed and steal any food I like, or work on my hole in the garden, and by the time she has finished chasing him round the house, the food is gone and I've made real progress on the norty hole.

I've even been teaching him to roll in dead seals and carry sticks in the woods.
I think we are going to have great fun together.
Have a pawsome month
