Product Review

Repawter: Betsy Trotwoof

My friend Tigger sent me a very exciting parcel of new products for me and my hoomans to try out. This is my first try at a review but here goes...

First of all, there were some toys made of scraps of fleece. They certainly stood up to my shaking and throwing and I even let my Aunty Corky have a play although I kept a very close eye on her as she usually butchers all my toys without my permission! My favourite was a pink furry prawn that Tigger said was made especially for me. I loved this toy so much I have adopted it as a pillow and now regularly do my own furry prawn on top of it.

There was a very eye-catching yellow lead for me to try on my walkies which went so well with my sunflower collar and coat. It is a great length at 1 metre and mum really appreciated the padded handle as I do have a tendency to pull when I first get started on my walks. The lead is very well made and certainly stood up my sudden bursts of acceleration and rapid changes of direction when sensing squirrels and my frenemy Bree who lives on the corner.

Tigger also included a natty drawstring bag made out of fleece. The split ring attachment is perfect to attach this bag to hoomums dog walking bag and meant she could put my treats in it as they usually get buried underneath poo bags and keys, so I miss out. The added bonus was that because the bag was nice and bright it kept catching mom's eye which reminded her to feed me BOL! Because it's made of fleece it wouldn't be waterproof but that's okay because neither are greyhounds ROFL!

Also included was a selection of collars to try. The weather turned before I got chance to try the cooling collar properly but Hoodad says it will be really useful when the weather gets warm again because the Terry towelling will hold cool water around my neck evenly rather than puddling in the v as it does with a banana. There was a very nice standard collar which I've given to my Aunty Corky as she doesn't have a beautiful long neck like me. I was sad to see it go as it's very well made and comes with a D-ring for ID badges and a really sturdy latch to keep it in place. The third collar is a brilliant velcro collar with a printed band that has space on it to write a phone number instead of using an ID tag. I agree with all Tigger's suggestions for how this collar could be used and I will certainly be using it when I'm next on my Holibobs.

Thank you for letting me be a tester for you Tigger
