Wag and Company's perfect Christmas gift

When Wag and Company realised that many of their older friends hadn’t had a Christmas gift for many years, often since they'd lost their partners, they thought they had to put that right.

As if to make the point, one of our friends was quite overcome by his gift and asked his Wag friends if he could save it until Christmas Day so that he would have something to open.
Enabled by the team at Primula with the support of Rington’s and the McCarthy Stone Foundation, 2022 Christmas gift is a luxury Rington’s afternoon tea box for our older friends as well as a special Wag coaster designed by the super talented Alex Clark and included with their individual Christmas cards!

161 parcels of one type or another were delivered in total! Thanks so much to everyone involved, particularly to the wonderful Wag volunteers distributing boxes across the North East of England!

Wag & Company is a registered charity enabling visiting dog teams to build meaningful relationships with older dog lovers across the North East of England who miss company and the friendship of a dog. Our professionally assessed volunteers and their dogs, visit people in their own homes as well as in care and medical establishments.
