Worcester Woods Country Park - WR5 2LG
Arrive: 10.30 for 11am start
With its two nature reserves and large field, Worcester Woods Country park is a lovely venue for our group walk on the FOURTH SUNDAY of each month. We meet outside the Orchard Cafe at 10:30 for an 11am start.
Come walk through the woods with other like-minded greyhound people and swap stories, hints and tips and generally chat about our quirky greyhounds.
The woods are lovely all year round but can get very muddy so please wear suitabe footwear. It can be navigated with pushchairs and mobility scooters with assistance and there is a route that avoids the stairs around County Hall. Generally however, the terrain is flat and suited to less able dogs.
There is a raffle with some fab prizes at the end of the walk and the cafe sells a range of hot and cold food and drinks. There is a great playground for children and the car park is large and no charge for parking.
A lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.
Thank you to Worcester Council for granting permission for us to hold these walks. It provides a great opportunity for greyhound owners to support eachother and for the dogs to socialise, as well are raise awareness about what great pets greyhounds make
