The Capers of Cilla
- March 2025

Hola de Francia...
Yep, gran news in Cilla's Capers, I'm on my first holibobs! Thanks to already having a Spanish passport and huge improvements in my scaredy cat ways I've been deemed safe for travels. Muy bien Cilla! Elaine knew I would be ok in the motorhome as I love the car so much so they booked a one way tickets on the Le Shuttle, the thought being, if I was unhappy we could return whenever. Haha no chance of that, I bloomin love the van, es muy comodo comfy and splendid to lounge about it.

The pet passport is always a nervous time apparently. However much Elaine knows it's sorted, like Doris's French passport, she always worries that customs will refuse travel. Of course it never happens and we whisked super rapido through check in whilst the other doggies waited with twenty pages of UK paperwork. Muy bien Cilla!

And Calais beach, oh my friends, it is HUGE! And sandy and safe and empty so I was allowed to run free. We'd done a lot of recall training at home so Elaine took a leap of faith and let go of my long line. Then she unclipped it, phew, I was super good and came back every time. She said she'd only do it in very safe places though, boo say I, I want to run amok all the time!
We're now down south after a week travelling through France. It's been very cold at night but fortunately Doris left me several pairs of pyjamas.
I'll keep you posted on my capers friends!

Good capers:
sand, motorhomes, baguettes, barking at fellow campers

Bad capers:
sand up my nose, suitcases on wheels, traffic bollards
