The Capers of Cilla
- June 2025

Hola friends and welcome to my escapades which have mainly taken place near my home in Cowes, or actually in my home in Cowes when 'resting' My month has been taken up with a lot of visiting familia, naturally they come to visit me so I have been practising my jumping up skills a lot. Muy bien Cilla! Jumping and barking, jumping and barking (until Elaine upped the boring training, que aburido)

Older visitors are great fun, especially the grandpapa who drops food all over the place. He did have a wheelie cart though which I was not too keen on however tasty the wheels were. The younger visitors were also super to have around as they leave shoes everywhere for me to collect and take to my upstairs bed, I'm a very house proud galgo, muy bien Cilla! Visitors also mean lots of trips in the car to beaches which I love. I've found a new camino in Newtown, it has a large nature reserve by the beach and although I am tethered by a lead I have lots to smell. The estuary has many wading birds, ducks, seabirds and even eagles. Elaine is very eager to see one of these but I reckon I'd just bark at it until it flies away like the good pupster I am. The walkway across the marsh to beach end was also exciting and I honestly didn't jump off into the mud meaning Elaine had to pick me back up, I was still on the lead obviously. Buenas!

Well until next time my caper loving amigos, time to bark at the postman.....

Good capers: Dropped cakes, discarded shoes, chewy flipflops, jumping

Bad capers: Walking sticks, training, wheelchairs, being quiet.
