Vanessa

Tell me a bit about yourself.
My name is Vanessa and I'm a nine-year-old Italian Greyhound. I came from my breeder who shows Italian Greyhounds, but unfortunately, I was too tiny and didn't meet the breed standard, so I was available to our household.

Do you work? If so where/what do you do?
I do nothing. My human travelled for work and I got to live in the Cayman Islands, Nantucket and NYC. We now live in Greenwich, CT and I mainly work keeping the squirrels out of the hanging baskets.

What is your favourite type of music?
Zen, meditation

If you could choose your name what would it be?
Princess High Maintenance

What is your favorite food?
I love soybeans

Have you taught your humans any tricks?
I've taught my humans a lot of tricks. For instance, I have a certain bark to let my mommy know that I peed on the paper, and she has to go clean it up. I also bark when it's dinner

What is your favourite way to entertain yourself?
I love to chew on my mommy's hair in the morning I come out from under the covers and I chew on her hair to let her know I'm hungry.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Knowing how to walk on a leash in NYC and not get distracted.

What is your next goal in life?
Bringing joy to my mommie because my grandma is getting older and my mom is sad.

If you could be/do anything for a day, what would it be?
Visit ill children in a hospital. I don't really like kids, I don't know why because they love me. I know I would bring a smile and make them happy.

Finally and most importantly... What was your human’s most embarrassing moment?
My human was on a zoom call and I was sleeping on her lap. I farted, I know they heard it because my mom said it was "my dog not me" and took the blanket off and put me up to the screen.
