Winston the Whippet
Tell me a little bit about yourself.
Hi my name is Winston! I am a Whippet, born in Wells. I am a very cuddly, spoilt, cheeky boy.
Do you work? If so where/what do you do?
No, I am a lazy lazy boy. Before my mums go to work they have to drag me out from under the toasty sheets. I do go to daycare 3 times a week and love to be chased about.
What is your favourite type of music?
My favourite music would be if you played a squeaky toy squeaking on repeat.
If you could choose your name what would it be?
My actual name would be nice! My mums mostly call me weenie
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food is definitely chicken or sausage. Whenever I go with my mummies for lunch they usually buy me a sausage!
Have you taught your humans any tricks?
If I drop something that I'm chewing and I can't reach it, if I stare at it, my mums feel bad and pick it up for me and hold it while I chew it. I'm a spoilt boy.
What is your favourite way to entertain yourself (annoy your humans)?
I’m not very good at entertaining myself because I love attention soooo much. So I bring my toy up to anyone and everyone and hit them with it until they play with me (particularly annoying for my mums when they have paid for me to be in daycare all day and they come home from work and I immediately start assaulting them with my duck toy)
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Me and my mums walked 100km in April to raise money for a parkinson's charity
What is your next goal in life?
To have a baby brother to play with
If you could be/do anything for a day, what would it be?
A day trip to pets at home. I am a celebrity in there. I would meet all the dogs and hoover up the treats.
Finally and most importantly... What was your human’s most embarrassing moment?
I dropped my ball in the muddy bank and then refused to pick it out because I didn't want to get muddy. My mummies launched a rescue mission for the ball where one of them dangled the other over the bank. She got the ball back .. but not before she fell in. It was a very wet, muddy walk home, with half the river in her shoes.
