Hello from Hamble!
After a month in Hayling Island we've moved to another destination beginning with H and to be honest I had to google map where it was pals.

Named after the river it sits on the pretty little Hampshire village is actually called Hamble-le-Rice and is famous for boats. Lots of nice boats and fancy yachts. And apparently an old tv programme called Howard's Way which Elaine assures me was very popular back in the day. Sadly we're not on a yacht as we're in the motorhome still, but we are staying at a marina just north of the village.

It's all rather lovely with the marina view (albeit through a car park) but it's surprisingly not very dog friendly. This is unusual for the UK as everywhere seems to be doggy friendly, but not this marina. The village may be of course, but walking up it involves a hairy walk down a country lane frequented by boy racers. Not ideal for an old lurcher I can tell you! So friends, I've demanded that we move on soon and find a new site.

Housewise I've been told that I have 9 human sleeps, so 180 hound sleeps til I get my new home. I'm planning to make it on my old cronky legs but one never knows. I'm loving my life lounging around the van so maybe I don't need a new home. Although a do hear a rumour of nice carpets and the promise of a new bed so maybe.....
