About
Becky is a lifelong animal lover with over fifteen years of professional experience. In addition to her work as a dog behaviourist and trainer, she has worked in wildlife parks, animal rescue centres and veterinary clinics. Her experiences have given her a nuanced understanding of how animals think, feel and behave. She now uses this understanding to help foreign rescue dogs adjust to their new environment.

Becky has personally provided a welcoming home to a wide range of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, chickens and even ferrets! She has gone above and beyond to support animals with behavioural problems and specific medical needs. She currently shares her home with six dogs and two cats.

Becky's Qualifications
Whenever possible, Becky is brushing up on the latest animal care and training advice. Over the years, she has accumulated a number of important accreditations, so you know your dog will be in safe hands. Her qualifications include:
NVQ in Animal Care
Degree in Applied Canine Behaviour and Training — Bishop Burton College (Hull University)
A range of courses from the School of Canine Science and the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers
Pet Professional Guild Membership
Scent Instructor Qualification — UK College of Scent Dogs
Aggression in Dogs Certificate

Becky's Approach
Becky is a seasoned expert in force-free training and behaviour work. That means she uses positive reinforcement only with all her canine clients. As a result, you can expect a friendly, constructive atmosphere at every session, with plenty of toys and treats!

Becky believes wholeheartedly that there is no place for force or punishment in dog training. Rescue dogs have often already been through more stress and trauma than any dog should have to. It is therefore crucial to make sure their new life is one of compassion, encouragement and progress. With Becky, your pup will be in safe and loving hands from day one.
