Midland Greyhound Walks
(Chase Pointies)
Cannock Chase Staffordshire
Reviews: 0

About:
Chase Pointies, a group who meet every month, normally on Cannock Chase, with their sighthounds, including lurchers, greyhounds, whippets, galgos, podencos, deerhounds, salukis, etc. Companion dogs that live with sighthounds are also welcome.
We work on the basis that if you want to come, you just turn up; no advance arrangements. It is all very informal.
Meetings are normally the second Sunday of the month at the Cannock Chase Visitor Centre, Marquis Drive, Hednesford, Cannock WS12 4PW.
We start to congregate about 10:45 for the start at 11:00 of a gentle walk for an hour or so.
Normally we use tarmac or compacted hardcore paths and the route only has one incline on it, otherwise it is fairly flat.
Lots of chat goes on and we socialise at the Visitor Centre café after the walk.
The café is open both before and after the walk so refreshments can be obtained if needed.

Note:
Please be aware that we do have breeds other than greyhounds attending the walks regularly.
If you don't know if your hound is friendly towards other breed please bring your muzzle with you and exercise caution at all times.
