Castle View is a splendid mid-terrace Victorian town house, tucked away in an elegant crescent, just off the main shopping street in the coastal town of Scarborough.Beautifully restored to the highest of standards, this fine property is just perfect for families and friends to spend time together in this traditional seaside town, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the North York Moors National Park.With light and spacious rooms, Castle View has a wealth of period features, from the carved feature fireplaces to the ornate high ceilings and cornices, yet retains a contemporary feel.Every modern comfort is catered for, including large power showers, an American fridge/freezer with ice on tap, and quality beds and mattresses, ensuring a good night's sleep.The comfortable sitting room has a lovely cosy woodburner, while the art deco-style dining room boasts a superb oak dining table, a very sociable space to sit and chat over an evening meal.With great attention to detail throughout, this excellent holiday home will delight even the most discerning guest!Just a stone's throw away are bars, restaurants and shops, with the beaches and historic harbour an easy ten minute walk.For culture lovers, the Stephen Joseph Theatre, famous for its world premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s plays, is just around the corner, while North Bay houses one of the largest open-air theatres in the country.Enjoy the vibrant seafront, with its golden sands, stroll along the promenade with the castle ruins perched high on the cliffs above, or wander around the colourful ornamental gardens.Scarborough is the perfect holiday base to explore this dramatic coastline, dotted with pretty fishing villages, such as Robin Hood's Bay, with it's narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages.With easy access to the spectacular countryside and many attractions, Castle View will not disappoint.
