As an artist specialising in Pet Portraits - recreating beautiful pastel portraits of our very much loved pets
Art at school was always my favourite time but I put this aside and went on to spend my life working full time in a rewarding, supportive way.
Later in life I picked my art back up and found that developing it became a support in it's self to myself.
I started painting landscapes in Acrylics but then found a love or working with Pastels and especially painting Pet Portraits.
Now established and taking commissions, finding such reward in producing my portraits, especially when they are a momento for people with lost and loved pets.
As a pet portrait artist I enjoy using pastels for my pet portraits as they give you a real depth and texture that replicates texture fur in an excellent manner.
I work slowly and carefully building up the layers to create a portrait that you could almost reach out and touch.
I only use the best quality medium and have heavily invested in these for the light fastness anti fading for your portraits.
