From Iron Age farms, Roman settlements and a royal park, to Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown and two world wars, the Ashridge Estate, on the Hertfordshire–Buckinghamshire border, is brimming with history.

Dog Friendly:
Well behaved dogs are welcome across Ashridge Estate, dogs on leads inside visitor centre and shop.

Notes:
Path around the meadow is suitable for wheelchairs
Accessible benches and chairs available inside and outside.
Wild deer can be seen anywhere and at any time on the estate.
There are several areas of the estate where cattle and sheep graze. Please adhere to any notices relating to livestock in these areas, give the animals plenty of space and keep your dog on a short lead.
There is a large network of public and permitted bridleways across the estate.
