Dogs: on leads, some restricted areas

Parking:
Car park located 100 metres from the abbey (run by Scarborough Borough Council). Disabled visitors may be set down by the entrance to the visitor centre; disabled parking in main car park and ramped entrance to site. Parking is chargeable and is owned and managed by Scarborough Borough Council.

Notes:
Disabled visitors may be set down by the entrance to the visitor centre. There is a ramped entrance to site. Access to monument and grounds is via the visitor centre's lift up to the grounds.
Steps to enter the nave.
Benches and rest points are dotted around the grounds.
Gravel pathways allow easy access to the site and ruins.
The grounds are mainly flat with some undulation.There is an open pond.

Dogs are not allowed inside the museum. No café but the YHA café next door has outdoor seating and dogs are allowed.
