Notes:
Drawbridge to enter site. This may spook a few dogs but it is sturdy with hand rails each side.
Steep steps (wooden) to enter the keep. Unfortunately the keep is not accessible to wheelchair users.
Ground is grassed and well maintained but uneven due to partially buried walls etc there is a constant risk of tripping.
Some of the grounds within the castle could be navigated by wheelchairs, but care is needed due to the uneven ground.
Staying within the easily accessible areas would still give a great view of the castle inside.
