Hello Furriends!
We hope everypawdy is doing great!

Here it has been FREEZING!! The temperatures have been in the minus numbers…brrrr! Trust us, we can feel it inside. The windows here are terrible and the cold comes through. Sometimes Carlito acts like he wants out…because he is crazy. But it’s less than before. He just does it to aggravate Mamma. He’s going to go nuts when the weather is nice and she doesn’t let him out (MOL)!

That outside orange kitty Momma discovered in January…that’s a whole story! But he has an owner…they just seem to be unsure about what they’re doing. So, the kitty has been in our house a few times to get warm (because he’s out at night when it’s freezing). Ugh. We knew this would happen. Just give it a few months, and that cat is going to be living here! Momma just can’t help herself. He’s not that bad…after he’s here for a few minutes, we all just take naps.

BoyCat has run outside a few times when the back door has been open. It’s nothing dangerous because he’s so old and slow. But he wants to go in the snow (not good for his arthritis). He also wants to go in the igloo that has straw in it for the critters. It’s funny, though, because it’s difficult for Momma to get in there to get him, so we have to wait for him to come out on his own…all covered in straw.

She took out a large carrier and put some straw in there for him so he could have an inside igloo…but he hasn’t gone in there at all. What a doofus.

Everyone must just be going nuts with being stuck inside with no fresh air. It’s like this every year. Why aren’t we just used to this??
Watching the birdies with the windows closed just isn’t the same!
