Hi Everypawdy.
Well guess what…it finally happened. Stetson (the orange cat that would just come and visit us sometimes) actually lives with us now. We knew it was only a matter of time. We’re just surprised it didn’t happen sooner! She had secretly predicted June would be when she would steal him off the streets. So, she is three months behind schedule. He has been inside since the beginning of September, and has been doing ok with being inside. He hasn’t tried to escape at all! He’s doing way better than Carlito was. Carlito needed medication to get over the transition. Not Stetson! But, he’s an orange cat…maybe he’s too stupid to be upset about being inside (MOL).

Stetson is fun, though. He likes to play a lot. He likes toys and likes to chase A LOT. He LOVES catnip! He is very picky about treats, though. So he’s just like Butter Bean about treats (another strange orange cat).

There have been soooo many new critters around to try to catch! There used to be only one chipmunk eating peanuts outside. But now we saw three of them together at the same time! We couldn’t believe it when we saw it! Them and the squirrellies and birdies together…we are about to lose our minds! And then we saw these bigger black birds coming around to eat some seeds too! We don’t know what they are, but they were neat looking…kinda scary, actually. So sometimes it’s ok there’s glass between us and them.

The big critters really aren’t as interesting….the coyotes, raccoons, opossums. BoyCat likes trying to attack them through the glass, though. He thinks he’s a tough BoyCat…sometimes they run away, and sometimes they just stand there looking at him like he’s a weirdo. Him being a weirdo is definitely true. Mom says we’re all weirdos. Well, news for her, she’s the biggest one we’ve ever seen in this house (not that a lot of humans come in here). Actually, there are weirder people than her that have been in here. Scarier humans for sure. Humans are just not as good as us in all the ways, that is definitely true!!
