Tess and Nephew Klaus's Worming Tablet Repawt
Repawter: Tess
I don’t like taking my worming tablet and will spit it out when given the tablet. I have to be food bribed to take the tablet and I am now quite adept in tasting the tablet in the food bribes. Nephew Klaus takes his tablet with no bribery but still gets some of the food bribes.
We have done this repawt to help other dogs and their humans know what the best food bribe is! And fellow dogs, don’t accept the work tablet in the first food bribe, make sure you get a good taste selection.
Left to right starting from the top row
- raspberry, strawberry, banana, cheese triangle,
- dog friendly peanut butter, pate & chicken.
Raspberry
– comes with a built-in hole to hide the tablet in. Very healthy and raspberries contain antioxidants which are beneficial to senior dogs. The tablet can fall out of the inside of the raspberry.
Strawberry
– you need to squish the tablet into the strawberry. Can be difficult to hide the worm tablet fully.
Banana
– you need to squish the tablet into the centre and squish the banana to cover the tablet. Rich in vitamins and minerals for dogs.
Cheese triangle
– squish the cheese triangle round to cover the tablet. The cheese triangle texture acts like glue and dogs find it difficult to spit the tablet out.
Peanut Butter
– very runny so put the tablet on a spoon and then a dollop of peanut butter on top. Very messy and like the cheese triangle, dogs find it difficult to spit out the tablet.
Pate
– squish the tablet into the middle of a dollop of pate and roll into a small ball. Difficult to spit out and very high calories.
Chicken
– put the tablet into the centre and make a chicken sandwich. Dogs can sniff out the tablet and spit it back out.
Our humans find the cheese triangle is the best way to give us the tablets.
