Tigger's Tails
- November 2024

Hi Pals!
Well October turned out to be a furtastic month!

First of all we managed to see and get a really scrappy photograph of the International Space Station!

Woo hoo! Then, unbelievably, after missing the last category 5 aurora borealis , my humans and I got to see a really epic light show from one.

I didn’t think it was possible to see the aurora borealis with the naked eye and thought we needed to use a camera or something. Well pals! I can definitely confirm that you can indeed see the aurora borealis with the naked eye.

We stood outside around 9pm when it was really dark. Although as we live in a large town and there is a lot of light pollution, we were not holding out much hope,

Standing outside we did not see anything at first, but as our eyes adjusted to the darkness, the sky night sky turned from black to black with a hint of red. Then as we were stood out there, the red went from mild and almost there to a really bright red that got brighter and brighter, then started to fade.

We were outside for nearly and hour and were really excited to see it.

We went back out around midnight and saw a more spectacular light show where the red was overhead. It had green streaks in it. It almost looked like a bird in the colours.

Til Next Month,
Nose bump to you
