With nearly a decade of experience working with dogs and qualified as an IMDT Instructor, behaviourist, Canine Hoopers World Instructor and Assessor, KAD (Kids Around Dogs), Scent instructor and Enrichment Specialist I bring a wealth of expertise to owners.
My extensive work with various families, including those with children, highlights my commitment to involving children in their dog's training journey. This not only enhances their understanding but also strengthens the bond between children and their family dogs. I work with children of all ages, including neurodiverse children, and have played a role in assisting them in training Home Owner Trained Assistance Dogs.
Having grown up with dogs of diverse breeds, from Afghans to Whippets, Pointers to Springer Spaniels, my profound love and passion for dogs have been a constant throughout my life. Starting my journey of learning about dogs from a young age, I've continued to develop a broad knowledge base and understanding of these incredible animals.
My dedication to ongoing learning is evident through attending training sessions with my own dogs, staying updated on the latest dog training theories through books and expert-led courses, both in-person and via webinars. Working with dogs and being immersed in their world is not just a job for me—it's a source of vitality.
My approach involves nurturing their strengths and boosting their confidence through enrichment and scientifically proven positive reinforcement training methods.
